Naz Legacy Foundation, in partnership with St Paul’s Cathedral and the City of London, organised an Interfaith Iftar hosted at St Paul’s Cathedral and Guildhall on Tuesday 7th May 2019. Speakers included the Bishop of London, the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan and the Chief Rabbi of the United Hebrew Congregations of the Commonwealth spoke at Guildhall.
This groundbreaking and history making event empowered and raised the aspirations of over 100 young people aged 18-30 years old (the average age was 23), representing all 32 boroughs of London, from all faiths and none and provided wonderful opportunity to celebrate faith in the centre of our vibrant and diverse capital. The young people came together to discuss what they believed were the top 3 issues that faced London and how faith and non faith communities could come together to help solve them.
The event was kindly supported by the Rumi Foundation
