On Wednesday 29th January, we had our first Diversity Day of 2020. We were joined by over 50 young people from over 5 London Boroughs at the Tower of London, to learn about the rich heritage of diverse communities in British History. They had the opportunity to hear about the history of the Tower, visit the Crown Jewels and learn about career opportunities available to them at the Tower. We also had a workshop on spoken word, facilitated by renowned artists, Ms Yankey and Fusion. Our young people were given the opportunity to write their own spoken word that delves into the role diverse communities have had on British History. Examples of their spoken word can be watched here.
The Naz Legacy Foundation Diversity Programme is supported by the Cosaraf Charitable Foundation.
