Public Service

There are many ways we can contribute to society and make a difference each day: helping govern schools and hospitals or communicating the views of different communities to key local institutions.

School Governor

Parents and local stakeholders should care about how our children are being educated.  By becoming a school governor, key decisions can be made to help the school be more part of the local community.

Police – Independent Action Group

Some communities may feel their voices are not heard or their youth have lost trust in the local Police Authorities.  The best way to make a change is to engage with your local Police – Independent Action Group.
Each Police Borough organises regular meetings with key community stakeholders and enable the community to voice their opinions and also implement change in the way policing happens within the locality.

Awards and Honours

One of best ways to thank someone for their contribution to society is to nominate them for an award or honour.  It enables society to acknowledge them for the contributions they have made and also act as an incentive to encourage others to follow in their footsteps.
