The College of Teachers

The College of Teachers

The College of Teachers is UK’s professional educational institute for teachers and aims to be at the forefront of continuing professional development and promoting excellence in the teaching profession. It is the only educational body which holds the 366th Royal Charter issued by the monarchy.

There are many ways to support The College of Teachers: by becoming a member, volunteering your time and expertise or making a donation to this valuable cause.  It is important that teaching is promoted as a profession of excellence with a rich heritage.  Those who are the best should teach.

Naz Bokhari was the first ethnic minority to be elected as council member of the college and received the Honorary Fellowship of Education.
