The Naz Bokhari Award is an annual award for students who achieve university acceptance despite adversity, who have to strive harder than others due to personal or social issues.  This award will recognize resilience and perseverance, qualities that Naz had, and promoted.  Nominated by their peers and teachers at the College, the winner is chosen by Principals each year.

Naz’s own father died when he was still young. He worked hard so that he could to complete his degree at 16 and earn a living as a teacher to provide for his family.
